Egourd is a destination-by-destination travel guide built on real, on-the-ground reporting. Every place we cover is researched, visited, and photographed by local writers and photographers — not stitched together from stock photos or secondhand listicles.
How we work
We write about the routes we’ve actually walked, the meals we’ve actually eaten, and the places we’d actually go back to. That means honest pros and cons for every destination, food spot, and itinerary — including the parts that are crowded, overpriced, or not worth the detour. If a guide doesn’t have a real photo behind it, it doesn’t get published.
Where we are right now
Egourd is just getting started. We’re building out China first, province by province, before expanding across Asia. New guides go up as our writers and photographers finish the legwork, so coverage will be uneven for a while — deep in a few places, thin everywhere else. That’s by design: we’d rather publish fewer guides we can stand behind than rush a country’s worth of shallow ones.
